Transform the way to achieve liquidity

We want to rock your boat, stimulate your thinking and break through the miasma of your daily trials and tribulations e.g. get your thinking on how to work together using aShareX to create liquidity for your assets with your expertise polishing ours:

Bond trading: For example, a seller seeks to unload a $30 million position. No one wants to position the trade anymore. Attract a wide audience of fractional and 100% bidders, set an acceptable reserve price and close the sale.

Block trade: Move block trades to the exchanges and lower fees. Capture all of the potential traders, not just the few large ones a broker-dealer calls.

Alternative asset sponsor/seller: i.e., private equity secondaries, royalties (music, health revenue streams, patents), carbon credits, real estate, litigation finance, structured debt, etc. Leverage existing base of investors, market broadly, select 506 C structure if greater than $75 million or Regulation A if less than $75 million for extra benefits, conduct auction and close.

Collectibles: i.e., art, sports, or Hollywood memorabilia, cars, gems and one-of-a-kind jewelry. This category is a natural for aShareX and we can directly help. Venture capital: imagine a situation where a successful investment has been made with values sharply higher, no initial public offering in sight, and limited partners/insiders seek to sell a chunk of stock for liquidity. Yes, there are existing facilitators here, but the aShareX platform offers some unique advantages as outlined (The aShareX Kairos Solution for Alternative Assets)

Let’s go further afield and test our imagination: wireless spectrum, computing capacity, crypto currency blocks, etc. No doubt our readership can be even more creative.

Our auction platform is flexible to use:

  • In person, telephonic or computer bidding
  • Pre-bidding allows for order book discovery
  • Live or timed
  • Auctioneer or computer bid acceptance
  • Multi-lot - lower the marketing cost for each individual auction
  • Bid increments customizable
  • Mix and match: use either Reg D or Reg A structures for fractional winners.

Is every aspect of aShareX unique? No. However, amalgamating the bits and pieces plus the selection and leverage to onboard multiple service providers adds further complexity but regulatory compliance. The auction platform allows reserve pricing, pre-bidding, undertakes Know Your Customer/Business (KYC/KYB), anti-money laundering (AML), credit scores the bidders, offers multiple account types, utilizes multiple payment rails, and has had the integrated Reg A securities offerings reviewed by the Securities and Exchange Commission multiple times. (N.B. this is considerably different from a standalone offering). Last, but not least, there are four broad patents filed which would be another hurdle to clear.

Can another practitioner replicate what we do? Possibly, but not easily, takes time, money and the people to do it. Many of these reasonable questions were fired at me when building Answer Financial, the insurance exchange ultimately sold to Allstate. Like aShareX, we were early, yet another similar challenge. We had no patents for many years; there were many competitors - some of whom had more money, started before us and offered what was claimed to be a similar approach. Several major institutions assured us that we were unnecessary and that they could build it faster and better. Some tried, but gave up. We survived, but sadly, most did not.

What set us apart was the passion to get it done, many people helping, patient investors, and the difficulty of patching together all of the disparate yet necessary elements into an integrated and cohesive working platform. This was also my sojourn with the Discover card, but that’s for another day, ha.

Transform the way to achieve liquidity. We built the only tool that simultaneously attracts the giants and the smaller fry to get the best prices.
